Don't be alarmed if you wake up in the morning to find your Shadows missing--they are merely being prepped for the Winter Solstice. What for, you ask? Well, during the Solstice, as well as celebrating the holidays (which I hope you enjoy your month off from class), we have a dedication to the Shadows that help run our lives. It is, indeed, something new that the Headmaster of the University of Roseate Spires and I are trying out. Combining our powers equally we've managed to come up with the ability to personify your Shadows.

Yes, that absolutely means what you think--your Shadows will be completely and utterly human for the ENTIRE month you are off from classes. There may still be some animalistic instincts, but don't expect too many, as your Shadows are more like humans than animals anyway. Or at least mine is. The normal rules of Shadows still apply, so you still can't wander too far and if you hurt, so do they. As well, I don't expect it, but there may be some problems when your Shadows are personified--side effects. Mostly some of their defining features--tails, teeth, ears--may carry over.

It is rare, but don't be alarmed if it does happen. In any event, I do hope you enjoy our Celebration of Shadows. They will all return to their normal states January 5th.
